United States and UN agencies aid and finance rebellion to protect electoral crimes committed by magistrates

For four days, the country’s main roads have been blocked, preventing the transportation of fuel, ambulances and food products in different parts of the country. They have affected the main constitutional guarantees of Guatemalans. They have carried out acts of vandalism nationwide. They are organized, financed and orchestrated by foreigners who belong to US agencies and other supranational organizations. These manipulated groups are made up of indigenous people, most of whom have very few resources. Several have left their homes with the offer of payment of Q. 150 a day plus some meals. In Totonicapán, there are countless complaints from neighbors who claim that these groups linked to the association of 48 cantons are forcing communities to block the streets, indicating that anyone who does not participate is charged a fine of Q. 200 and their business is burned down. In addition to the fine they impose, they threaten to cut off the water service to their businesses and homes. In Quetzaltenango, both the prosecutor’s offices and the Courts have blocked the entrances and exits of the Justice Complex. There are many complaints from women who needed to request Security Measures for Violence Against Women but have not been able to access legal protection due to the organization of these groups, and procedures for rescuing minors have also been blocked, among others.

Those who take up arms commit the crime of rebellion with the aim of promoting civil war or to depose the constitutional government, to abolish or change the Constitution of the Republic, to vary or suspend, in whole or in part, the existing constitutional regime or prevent the integration, renewal, free exercise or operation of State Agencies.
